Chris to Appear at Animated Encounters in Bristol!
We’re thrilled to announce that Chris will be appearing at Animated Encounters, one of the UK’s most vibrant celebrations of animation and storytelling. The event takes place at the iconic Arnolfini in Bristol, and Chris will be joining the lineup on Friday at 14:30.
Chris will be discussing his latest work, Anfield Road, offering insights into the creative process behind the book, and sharing exclusive readings. There will also be a book signing session, so don’t miss your chance to meet Chris in person and get your copy signed!

THE CAPTION COMICS FESTIVAL
The Caption Comics Festival is a small, cozy event in Oxford celebrating British small press and independent comics. The 2025 edition, called Caption Rebirth, will take place on August 16-17 at Seacourt Hall, Botley. Unlike larger conventions, Caption fosters a relaxed atmosphere where creators and attendees mingle freely.
This year’s festival features panels, workshops, portfolio reviews, and a community sales table. Confirmed guests include Lucy Sullivan, Andy Oliver, Beck Kubrick, Chris Shepherd, Dominique Duong, Zara Slattery, Paul B. Rainy, Cara Brown, Mike Armstrong, and Shane Melisse. THE LAKES INTERNATIONAL COMIC ART FESTIVAL
The Lakes International Comic Art Festival (LICAF) is an annual celebration of comics and graphic novels held in Bowness-on-Windermere, England. The 2025 edition will take place from September 26-28 and will feature live draws, interviews, workshops, exhibitions, book launches, and a Comics Marketplace. LICAF is known for its international lineup of comic creators, which this year includes Chris Shepherd, showcasing talent from around the world.
