The Ringo Awards, officially known as the Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards, celebrate achievements in the comic book industry. Named after the late artist Mike Wieringo, these awards honor creativity and excellence in comics. They were established in 2017 and are presented annually at the Baltimore Comic-Con.
The awards feature a mix of fan and professional nominations across various categories, such as Best Cartoonist, Best Writer, Best Series, and Best Webcomic. Fans and professionals alike can vote, making it a unique blend of community and industry recognition.
