Excitement is ramping up — because Chris Shepherd is heading to MCM London Comic Con on Friday 22 May, live in the South Hall at stand S2259. Central Saint Martins’ MA Character Animation crew are teaming up with Wimbledon College of Art, and trust me, this stand is going to be unmissable.
Wimbledon’s team have unleashed a full‑size Godzilla and Gamera, lovingly crafted by BA (Hons) Technical Arts for Theatre and Screen students and staff. These beasts are beautiful, huge, and absolutely selfie‑ready all weekend. The Gamera suit is even inspired by Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, brought to life by the brilliant Phoebe Stringer, Nate Barker and Annika Randle. Check out the incredible work!!
So why not swing by, grab a photo with a kaiju, and say hello? You’ll also find Central Saint Martins’ Haemin Ko on the stand throughout the weekend, along with MA Character Animation students who’ll be happy to chat about the legendary course.
