It’s been a while since Chris has appeared at the London International Animation Festival. Last time was in 2016 when be won Best British Film with Johnno’s Dead.
To celebrate the publication of his debut graphic novel Anfield Road Chris and LIAF have programmed a special session about animated films which have been adapted from books. The programme features work by animation legends Jonathan Hodgson, Sjaak Rood, Ru Kawabata, Max Porter, Ross Hogg, Caroline Leaf, Barry Purves, Theodore Ushev, Joseph Pierce and David Shrigley. To unpack all of the films Chris will be talking to Jez Stewart from the BFI. Chris will also be talking and sigining copies of Anfield Road. Ticket are now on sale.
