I had a great time at last night’s ANFIELD ROAD book launch at Waterstones Liverpool. It was so amazing to do the talk with Bernie Connor. He is amazing music journalist and DJ. Bernie has also been a big influence on me over time and is one of the Pool’s finest. Big thanks to legendary Sarah Hughes at Waterstones for giving me the opportunity present my book. A lot of old friends arrived along with some new faces. My family were there. My old teachers Annie McGrath and Steve Roberts turned up. Both of which has really encouraged me to do drama. I’d not seen them for forty years! Many school mates came. It was very moving for me. There were lots of people I’d worked with there like John Henshaw from my short The Ringer.
It was such a special time. Now that the book is finished it has opened my world up so I would like to thank Titan Comics again for taking ANFIELD ROAD on.
If you are in Liverpool and would like a signed copy of ANFIELD ROAD there’s a few instore at Waterstones. But not many so I would get in there quick if you after some Christmas presents. There’s also signed copies at Forbidden Planet on Bold Street. Again, there’s only so many of them.
