Had quite a day yesterday. I headed down O2 way to Ravensbourne University to do a talk for the students. Wonderful filmmaker Jenny Wright invited me down to talk about Anfield Road, my films and Liverpool back in day. I met some fantastic students from Jenny’s BA Animation Course. The building was futuristic like a scene from THX 1138. Pretty cool.
After that I headed to Brighton. I dropped in on Dave’s Comics which is nestled in Sydney Street. It is hard to imagine a book shop having such a good selection of books. I was very proud to see ANFIELD ROAD on the new releases stand. It was near to one of my all time heroes Charles Burns. I so need a copy of Kommix. I signed a few ANFIELD ROAD copies while I was there. So dear friends in Brighton – this is place to go if you want a signed copy. After that Steve invited to draw on his wall! This is normally illegal! So that was fun. For the best comics and graphic novels go to Dave’s.
